Symphony music, from its earliest beginnings, much like all the fine arts, has always existed off the benevolence of patrons who believed in the art and in the artists of that art. For centuries, Kings and Queens would commission art from their favorite artists and composers and that is how we have come to appreciate the amazing works we have today! Ticket sales alone can never underwrite all of the expenses that go into producing the level of quality our orchestra provides each concert. In fact, our concerts can run between $65,000 - $110,000 each to produce. From the 80-member orchestra to the venue costs, the techs, the music rights, there is so much involved in a great concert. This is where YOU make the difference.
